Elizabeth Marie was welcomed into the world on August 23rd.  Mom, Dad, and Liz spent the next few days recovering at Fairfax Hospital.  This photo was taken on the 24th.

Bob and Lisa visited Virginia for the 2001 Thanksgiving Holiday weekend which was capped off with a road trip to NYC.  Here are a couple of shots of the four of us at Rockefeller Center and the Plaza hotel.

Since this was the ladies first real visit to the city, the first destination on our itinerary was a visit to the Empire State Building.  Renee took this eerie photograph looking south from the observation deck toward the location of the World Trade Center.

Our walk through Central Park led to this memorable photo, among others.

We celebrated Renee and Jim's October 2001 birthday's at Clyde's Restaurant in Reston.  Here's a shot of Renee (with help from Joe) getting ready to dig into the final course.
